(NewsDakota.com) The LaMoure Post 19 and Oakes Post 36 American Legion baseball teams are venturing away from home Wednesday to continue their seasons before meeting up in Oakes on Thursday.

After winning their first Section 2 game of the season against Enderlin Post 221 on Monday night, Post 36 goes east to play Wapheton in a non-section battle. First pitch is schedule for 6 p.m.

Post 19, who last week fell 4-2 to Lisbon Post 7 for their first Section 2 loss of the year, and is coming off a weekend tournament in Grafton, heads north and west up to Carrington for a Section 2 contest. The two teams played each other earlier this season in Edgeley, with LaMoure picking up the win 5-3.
