City Commissioners Jon Wagar and George Dutton were recognized for their years of service to the city as city commissioners on Monday. Dutton served for 10 years on the commission and Wagar for 8.

The two will serve at one more meeting as the commission decides how to proceed with the 9th Avenue Northwest road project during a special board meeting Thursday at 8am.
Bids on the project came in $250,000 over the engineers estimate last Friday on the $4.5 million dollar project.

City Commissioners elect Mary Lee Nielson and Madaline Luke will be sworn in on Friday and we’ll serve at their first meeting on July 2nd.
