(NewsDakota.com) – Early voting is now available in Stutsman County for the June 12 election.

The first day of early voting is Tuesday, May 29. Early voting is allowed weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. though June 11 at the Stutsman County Courthouse. The courthouse is also open for voting on Saturday, June 2, and Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All qualified voters of Stutsman County are eligible for early voting at the courthouse prior to the June 12 election.

Election officials across the state are expecting a large turnout for the June 12 election, which includes four different measures on the ballot.

Measure 2 deals with a proposal to abolish property taxes, and Measure 4 deals with the UND Fighting Sioux nickname controversy.
