CITY (NewsDakota.com) Authorities say a 31-year-old Valley City man was arrested following a crash west of the Kathryn Dam Saturday. Barnes County Deputies say the man suffered a cut to his forehead in the crash and was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment and a blood draw on suspicion of driving intoxicated.

Barnes County deputies responded to a rollover crash north of Bayshore Saturday. No injury was reported. The owner of the vehicle told deputies that a friend took the car without permission and crashed the vehicle.

The Highway Patrol says a vehicle lost control on the east bound lane of Interstate 94 went into a body of water some six miles west of Valley City Saturday just before noon. No injury was reported.

A 26-year-old Rogers man was arrest after a traffic stop on west main in Valley City Friday night. Police say the man was cited for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A truck fire was reported in Wimbledon on Sunday night. The owner of the vehicle said they got the fire out before fire crews arrived on the scene.
