(NewsDakota.com) – A vehicle rollover about 10 miles north of Jamestown killed a man and a woman from Williston, N.D., on Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred about 7 p.m. on US Highway 52.
Lieutenant Aaron Hummel with the North Dakota Highway Patrol says the male driver, 51-year-old Brian Harper formerly of Pensacola, Fla., lost control of the southbound 1998 Jeek Cherokee, which then entered the ditch, struck a culvert, went airborne and rolled.
Harper was wearing a seat belt but died in the crash. The passenger, 41-year-old Ma Alma Lucius, formerly from St. Paul, Minn., was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries.
Harper and Lucius were en route from Williston to Minneapolis. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
