(NewsDakota.com)- Head Coach Dean Kraft credited weather and an unfamiliar course as the reasons for the Blue Jays struggle yesterday at Apple Creek. Jamestown brought in a team score of 368 at the Bismarck High Invite.

Jakobi Lux had the best day of any Jamestown golfer with a 90. Austin Rene and Brandon Hart were right behind him with a 91 and 93 respectively.

Two regular golfers missed the meet to remain at school for the day, Nick Stockert and Brady Hoggarth.

The Jays finished 7th with their 368. “Too many bogeys turn into double, triples or worse,” said Kraft stressing damage control, too man bad shots creating some higher than necessary scores.

Jamestown will be at Hawktree on Friday. The WDA tournament will be played May 30th in Dickinson.
