CITY (NewsDakota.com) City officials hired police officer Wade Hannig of Valley City. Hannig is a graduate of Oriska High School and has a Gun Smith degree from Colorado School of Trades. 

Hannig worked as a police office for Watford City and before that as a Cass County Jailer.

The city also hired Erica Doornek as a 9-1-1 dispatcher. Doornek previously worked for the Valley City Times Record and has a journalism degree from the University of Montana.
