N.D. (AP) – A Bismarck woman faces up to five years in prison after she was convicted yesterday of crashing her vehicle into a house while chasing her husband. Ella Bowen-Davis was convicted of reckless endangerment.

SOUTH HEART, N.D. (AP) – Developers in the southwest North Dakota oil patch town of South Heart are looking south for housing. Authorities say they’re ordering homes from South Dakota instead of building them on-site. Meanwhile, administrators at Dickinson State University ordered a four-story student housing complex from Madison, South Dakota because there isn’t enough off-campus housing for students. The building is being trucked up in sections.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – State wildlife officials are closing North Dakota’s paddlefish snagging season tomorrow afternoon. The Game and Fish Department says the move is being made to protect the fish. Anglers who haven’t harvested a paddlefish this year still will be able to snag a fish during a seven-day snag-and-release season that starts Saturday.
