CITY (NewsDakota.com) Brian Kalk the Republican endorsed candidate for North Dakota’s congressional seat made a campaign stop in Valley City last night.
Kalk says his focus is to win the June 12 primary challenge he faces against fellow Public Service Commissioner Kevin Cramer.
Kalk took a shot at President Obama’s decision to stop construction of the Keystone Pipeline. He says it’s a lot safer to transport crude oil via of a pipeline instead of all those trucks on state highways in the oil patch.
Kalk a retired Marine says he would like to have a role in shaping a leaner more mobile military if elected to Congress.
Former state legislator and Democratic nominee Pam Gulleson will face Kalk or Cramer in the November election.
