CITY (NewsDakota.com) The annual Valley City State University Foundation fundraiser set a record ,000 dollars through its live and silent auction on April 20th in Valley City.

VCSU Spokeswoman Kim Hesch says the annual event raised nearly $49,000 dollars last year. Hesch says thanks to everyone who participated and helped raise so much money for the VCSU Foundation.
