N.D. (AP) – A 25-year-old Mandan man is facing charges after he was arrested yesterday for trying to take a loaded handgun through security at the Bismarck Airport. Security spotted the .45-caliber gun in the man’s carry on, along with two magazines. He was trying to board a flight to Denver.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A man who was shot by Bismarck police after allegedly threatening officers with a knife pleaded not guilty to a felony terrorizing charge. Arthur Feather was arraigned yesterday. His trial is scheduled for late May.

So far this year, there’ve been 40 confirmed rabies cases in the state. That’s twice the number recorded in all of 2011.
