(NewsDakota & AP) – School archery teams from Medina, Dunseith and Hankinson are eligible to represent North Dakota at nationals in May.

The annual state tournament of the National Archery in the Schools Program was held in Bismarck earlier this month.

Medina won the middle school state championship. Dunseith won high school and Hankinson won elementary. They each will get $2,500 to travel to the national tournament May 10-11 in Louisville, Ky.

Medina’s archery team is holding a silent auction and a soup and sandwich fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Medina School. Proceeds will be used to bring the team to the national tournament in Kentucky.
