(NewsDakota.com)- Bismarck Century Senior Andre Maund has signed a NAIA letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Jamestown College.
“We are excited to add Andre to our program,” Head Coach Matt Murken said this morning. “It is critical for us to recruit state talent to JC. He had a great career at Century and will continue to improve.”
The 5-11 guard started all 19 games for the Patriots in 2011-12 averaging 14.8 points per game. Maund was a key contributor as a junior on the team that won the 2011 Class A state title.
Century was knocked out in the state qualifying game this season by St. Mary’s.
Jamestown fans got a taste of how explosive he can be when he scored 21 points on 8/15 shooting at Jerry Meyer Arena back in February during a 58-53 win over the Jays.
