CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Viking mens’ golf team will wrap up it’s season today at the NAIA qualifier in Prescott, AZ.

Valley City State shot a team 639 on day one of the qualifier at Antelope Hills Golf Course Sunday.  The first day was a 36-hole day for teams and individuals.  Taylor Hendrickson and Ryan Mehus co-led the team with 154 each.

Head coach Nathan Stover says the team will likely not be in contention for a qualifying bid to the national meet.  Only the top team and individual qualify from the NAIA independent qualifier.
