(NewsDakota.com) The City Of Oakes has announced that their annual spring clean up week is set for the first full week in May; from Monday the 7th through Saturday the 12th.

Those wanting to discard objects are encouraged to have their articles out in front of their streets by the morning of the 7th. Once crews come by an area, they will not return.

Oakes Mayor Monty Zimmer explains there are some rules and regulations as to what you can and can’t leave out, and where you can and cannot leave items.

The City landfill will also be open during the week, and use of the landfill will be free for Oakes residents.
