(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Choralaires men’s singing group is preparing for its biggest concert of the year this weekend: Big Sing 2012.

Hundred of male singers from the region will be in Jamestown for the Big Sing, which is hosted by the Jamestown Choralaires. The two-day event culminates with a group concert Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets are available from members of the Choralaires, Country Gardens Floral, and the Jamestown Civic Center.

Merrill Piepkorn, a host on Prairie Public Radio, will emcee the event.

Other events as part of Big Sing include recitals, workshops and socials on Friday and Saturday.
