Prosecutors say 25-year-old Keagan Haas, of Page, had been drinking and taking prescription pills before driving a Suburban off the road in Cass County last November.

Economists say there are signs that the higher energy and fuel prices are slowing growth in agriculture-dependent areas, while slower global growth has already harmed some rural areas that are dependent on agricultural sales.
