CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–It was pure domination for the Hi-Liner softball team at Fargo South yesterday.

The Hi-Liners allowed just two this over two games, including a co-operative no-hitter in the second game, blasting the Bruins 13-0 and 12-0 in a twin-bill in Fargo.

The fifth inning of both games was key.  The Hi-Liners scored six runs in that inning in game one, and 11 fifth-inning runs in game two.

Meanwhile, Keely Fogarty was on top of her game.  She allowed just two hits in the first game.  Fogarty then combined with Jessica Denholm to no-hit the Bruins in the nightcap.  Fogarty recorded 14 strikeouts on the day.

Dierra Diegel supplied the offense in game one, finishing with two hits, three runs scored, and five RBI.  Brooke Breckheimer added a pair of hits and two driven in, and Danica Diegel had a pair of hits as well.

Breckheimer then drove in five runs with three hits in the second game.  Dierra Diegel drivein three with two hits, and Allison Baasch drove in a pair of runs.

The Hi-Liners travel to Fargo again Thursday, this time facing Fargo North.
