City (NewsDakota.com) Valley City Administrator David Schelkoph said the screening process for selecting a new Police Chief has been narrowed down from 39 applicants to 9.

Schelkoph said only 2 local police officers remain in the interview process which will eventually be narrowed down to 5 or less.
