(NewsDakota.com) – The northbound lane of the viaduct on 4th Avenue SE in Jamestown will be closed indefinitely starting Tuesday.

The city engineer’s office says the closure is for road repairs and the lane will remain closed until further notice. The width of the northbound lane was restricted to 12 feet on Monday prior to Tuesday’s closing of the road.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
