(NewsDakota.com) Severe weather hit the Twin Cities area on Sunday night, and not before too long, the same kind of storms that were present in southern Minnesota last night will be in season in this area.
To prepare residents for another severe weather season, Dickey County Emergency Management will be hosting a SKWARN severe weather class Monday night in Oakes at the Southeast Region Career and Tech Center, located at 924 7th street at 7 p.m.
Dickey County Emergency Manger Charlie Russell says their is no cost for attendance, and the public is highly encouraged to attend and learn the signs of dangerous weather and the precautions to take to keep their families safe during the severe weather season.
