HEART, N.D. (AP) – A pressure problem at an oil well caused a mist of oil to spray over 10 acres of land in southwestern North Dakota earlier this week. Officials at Fidelity Oil and Exploration say they’re cleaning up the spill. It involved less than 100 gallons of oil and water.

TOLNA, N.D. (AP) – An 86-year-old woman was killed when her car crashed into another vehicle near Tolna in northeastern North Dakota. Investigators say the woman didn’t yield the right of way at an intersection.

LARIMORE, N.D. (AP) – The driver of a Larimore school bus is on leave after the North Dakota High Patrol charged him with failing to yield the right of way during a bus accident earlier this week. Nine students were aboard the bus during Wednesday’s crash. No one was injured.

BEACH, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota’s Game and Fish Department is debating whether to cut the number of deer gun licenses by about 40 percent as the state’s deer population declines. The agency is proposing issuing about 65,000 deer gun licenses for the fall. Last year, it issued almost 110,000 licenses
