Minot State Beavers put three on the board in the bottom of the first in game one and never trailed on the day as the Viking offense continued to struggle.

The Beavers took game one by a 5-1 score after jumping out to a three to zero lead after the first.  Valley City State got one back in the top of the third inning playing their short game but the Vikings couldn’t string any hits together for the game versus the Beaver ace Mandy Greenburg.

Game two was all Beavers as they took care of the Vikings in a 9-0 shortened game.

The Vikings, now 14-17 on the season, return home on Thursday, April 12 to face the Jamestown College Jimmies.  Game times are set for 3 and 5 in the DAC Doubleheader at the VCSU Softball Complex.
