CITY (NewsDakota.com) A crash near Tower City injured an 80-year-old man on Friday.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. But a law enforcement official thought it was possible the driver of the semi may have fallen asleep at the wheel but they stressed the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Cass County Sheriff’ Paul Laney and Captain Judy Tollefson performed CPR on the man in the parking lot of the Tower City Travel Center before ambulance crews arrived to transport the man to a Fargo Hospital. The crash remains under investigation with the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
