ROSS, N.D. (AP) – A weekend crash in the western North Dakota oil patch killed the driver of a semitrailer. Forty-nine-year-old Larry Becker of Lewistown, Montana was driving a semi that rear-ended another semi in Mountrail County. The driver of the second truck wasn’t hurt.
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) – A regional survey says rising fuel prices haven’t slowed economic expansion in the Midwest and Plains. The region’s economic index has been improving for five straight months. New survey data released today includes information from North Dakota and eight other states.
