(NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Public School music students will have an opportunity to learn from some unique vocal artists Tuesday.

Six Appeal, an all vocal band from Minneapolis and with roots in Fargo-Moorhead, will be conducting vocal workshops with various Jamestown music students on Tuesday. Six Appeal is also presenting a concert at 7:30 p.m. that night at the Jamestown High School Theater.

Six Appeal performs a cappella, meaning no instruments are used in their performances.

The event has been organized by the Jamestown Public School Music Boosters, and will help the boosters raise money for the music department and more educational music opportunities. Tickets for the concert are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

Six Appeal says on its web site that the band’s songs “span decades of classic oldies, current chart toppers, and catchy original tunes.”
