Srozinski, 80, of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at his home under the care of Jamestown Hospice surrounded by his family.
Harold Srozinski was born July 23, 1931, in Edgeley, ND, the son of Pete and Rose (Taszarek) Srozinski. He grew up and attended school in Homer Township, near Jamestown. Harold enlisted with the US Army and served during WWII. After he was discharged, Harold married Marilyn Johansen on May 27, 1955 in Jamestown. He was employed at Meidinger Buick Sales and Service, and later for Fredrick’s Inc. in the body shop for 38 years.
Harold was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting and his flower and vegetable gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Srozinski, Jamestown; daughter, Cheryl (Brent) Gardner, Jamestown; son-in-law, Allen Hill, Bismarck; and two brothers, Melvin (Lorraine) Srozinski, Fargo, ND and Gerald (Barbara) Srozinski, Jamestown.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Linda Hill; and brother, Ralph.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Jamestown.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
Memorials: Jamestown Hospice.
