(NewsDakota.com) – A rural Eldridge man died in a farm accident Tuesday afternoon involving a PTO shaft.

According to a release from the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Randall Goldade’s clothing caught on a running PTO shaft and he died from injuries sustained in the accident on a rural residence northwest of Eldridge.

Goldade was 53.
