(Jamestown College)- Jamestown College head football coach Shawn Frank and head men’s track and field coach Ed Crawford announce Kaleb Garcia of Chandler, Ariz., has signed letters of intent to enroll at Jamestown College next year and participate in football and track for the Jimmies.
Garcia is an All-Southern Region defensive line selection for Perry High School where he recorded 115 career tackles and six sacks.
“Kaleb is yet another player who provides position flexibility, specifically on the defensive side of the ball,” Frank says. “Kaleb plays with great energy, which is certainly contagious. He will either make the transition to safety or play an outside linebacker for us. Either way, we are getting a player who has tremendous burst and can change direction very well. We are excited that this talented young man has decided to play for the Jimmies.”
“We’re really excited to have Caleb as part of our program as he will add depth to our already great hurdle group and will help us a lot in the relays,” adds Crawford.
Garcia is the son of Gabe and Kristy Garcia.
