(NewsDakota.com)- Jamestown senior basketball players Dyllan Anderson and Danny Fischer were named to the all-West Region team.

Fischer finished his senior season averaging just over 17 points per game, including 19 in the season ending loss to the Minot Magicians in the state qualifying game.

Anderson, who is on his way to play basketball at Jamestown College, finished the season strong after a slow start with 10.2 ppg. He also pulled down just over four rebounds per contest.

Bismarck High’s Dexter Werner was named the Senior Athlete of the Year in the West Region, while his coach Steve Miller took home Coach of the Year honors.

Jamestown finished the season 10-12 after starting hot and winning seven in-a-row during the mid-season lost 10 of their final 12.
