(NewsDakota.com) – The Kindred girls basketball team punched its ticket to the Class B State Tournament with a 57-51 win over Central Cass on Thursday during the Region 1 Championship in Lisbon.

Braidy Dahl scored 18 points and Kellie Schmit added 13 to lead Kindred to the title. Hannah Breske led Central Cass with 17 points in the loss.

In the third place game, Northern Cass knocked off Maple Valley 62-52 behind 18 points form Lexi Zieske. Rylee Nudell led Maple Valley with 20 points. Cassie Pautz added 15 points in the loss.
