CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–As with this year’s Region I boys tournament, all the semifinalists will be from District 2.

Maple Valley, Kindred, Central Cass and Northern Cass all advanced to the semifinals Monday in Lisbon, setting up a reverse of the match-ups from the District 2 semis.  Maple Valley lost to Central Cass in that tournament, and will now face Kindred, while Northern Cass, who lost to Kindred at the district level, will face Central Cass.

The Raiders started things with a 64-47 win over Milnor, the champion of District 1.  Maple Valley was seeded fifth in the District 2 tournament, further illustrating the dominance of the district.  The Vikings then followed suit with a 58-39 win over Lisbon.

Central Cass led by over 30 points in the third quarter, and won 67-37 over Hankinson.  Northern Cass then finished the sweep with a 59-42 defeat of North Sargent.

Maple Valley meets Kindred at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night, with Kindred and Northern Cass to follow.  Pregame coverage will begin at 5:45 p.m. on Q101 KQDJ-FM.
