could pummel the Dakotas today. With the snow and strong winds,

million in federal money to pay for public infrastructure repairs
following last year’s flooding. The nearly $202 million from FEMA
has paid 90 percent of the cost of more than 3,500 projects.

didn’t file a federal return for 2008 might have refunds coming,
but the three-year window to claim the money is closing. More than
$1.9 million might be waiting for about 2,000 North Dakotans.
DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) – Lake Region State College is restarting
a band program after a more than 20-year hiatus. The Devils Lake
school will offer more music classes and introduce scholarships
next year to recruit musicians. The band’s first performance is
tomorrow during a home basketball game.
