CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Today marks the start of the Region I boys basketball tournament at the Fargo Civic Memorial Auditorium.

In the day session, Milnor will battle Fargo Oak Grove.  The Bison are the top seed from District 1.  Kindred will then face Hankinson, with the Vikings the runner-up from District 2.

In the night session, Central Cass, ranked third in North Dakota and the top seed from District 2, faces Lisbon, and Lidgerwood-Wyndmere, the runner-up from District 1, is pitted against Maple Valley.

The tournament begins at 3:00 p.m.  KQDJ-FM Q101 will have coverage of Central Cass and Maple Valley, starting around 5:30 p.m.
