(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Council may have three new faces in June.

The council seats of Charlie Kourajian, Pat Nygaard and Ken Schulz are all up for election during the June primary on June 12. Mayor Katie Andersen said in a recent city committee meeting that all three have tentatively said they will not seek re-election.

City administrator Jeff Fuchs says anyone interested in getting on the ballot needs to pick up a petition at City Hall and obtain 300 signatures from qualified voters within Jamestown.

Petitions need to be turned back into City Hall by 4 p.m. on April 13. Petitions became available in mid-January. Fuchs says no one has started the process yet.

There are also two spots on the Park Board of Commissioners up for election in June. Those spots are currently held by Wade Spitzer and Mark Ukestad.
