CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Viking women host another Association of Independent Institutions (AII) contest tonight.

Valley City State will face Dakota State at the W. E. Osmon Fieldhouse.  The Vikings defeated the Lady T’s in Madison, SD, on January 8th in their first meeting.

The Vikings are receiving a vote in the national poll, and retained their number-two ranking in the AII poll after a win over Mayville State and an overtime loss to top-ranked Jamestown College this past weekend.  The Vikings are currently 14-9.

The Lady T’s are 5-15 overall, and on an eight-game losing streak, losing their last matchup at home to the South Dakota Mines 73-62.  

Valley City State won the previous matchup 68-52.  Katie Ralston (Jr., Dahlen, ND) led three in double figures with 15 points, with Brittany Lehner (So., Watertown, SD) and Courtney Titus (Jr., Hankinson, ND) adding 11 each.

Gametime will be at 7:00 p.m.  Pregame coverage will begin at 6:40 p.m. on Q101 KQDJ-FM.
