and Valley City this week to talk about spring flood preparations.
The meetings with FEMA and state emergency officials will include
information on the flood outlook, flood insurance and flood risk
mitigation.

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) – Valley City residents head to the polls
tomorrow to decide whether Mayor Bob Werkhoven will keep his job.
Werkhoven and a city commissioner are being targeted in a recall
election that stems from political turmoil that plagued the city

transportation and housing studies about the projected
infrastructure needs in western communities. Commerce Department
officials say the updated research is necessary because of the
growing oil activity and the stress on infrastructure in the
