– Christian Ironroad scored 22 points and Chris Cook added 16 as Four Winds-Minnewaukan defeated Carrington 65-51 Thursday night in District 7 boys basketball action.

Scott Burnham led Carrington with 13 points and Taylor Skytland added 11 in the loss.

Four Winds is receiving votes in the latest Class B state poll. Four Winds is now 5-0 in District 7 play. Carrington is 2-2 in the district.

Up next: Carrington travels to Harvey for a game against Harvey-Wells County on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
