(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School girls basketball team evened their record with wins and losses after a 45-37 victory against Fairmont-Campbell-Tintah.
The girls were down 11-10 at the end of the first quarter, but took the lead by the end of the half at 22-19, and never looked back to improve to 2-1 in District 1.
Oakes had six different players score, and for the first time this year, their were three Tornadoes in double figures; lead by Rebecca Greenmyer’s 11 points. Nicole Warren and freshman Lydia Hansen each had 10.
With the win, the Tornadoes are now 6-6, and will head to LaMoure to take on the Loboes on Saturday night.
