(NewsDakota.com)- The Jamestown High School basketball teams will be in action tonight at Jerry Meyer Arena taking on Bismarck St. Mary’s in a Western Dakota Association match-up.
The boy’s (7-2, 5-1) come in as one of the hottest teams in Class A and look to get their second win over a team from Bismarck. They beat Century last Tuesday night.
Danny Fischer is averaging just over 17 points per game, but its a been a team effort on the current six-game winning streak. Jamestown has seven guys that on any night could be the go-to-guy.
St. Mary’s is 5-3 overall and 4-2 in the WDA.
The Blue Jay girls (3-6, 2-4) had their three-game winning streak snapped against No. 2 Century a week ago, and they look to get back on track tonight.
Both St. Mary’s teams are coming off a loss at Turtle Mountain last Friday night. Belcourt is the place the Jay boy’s started their current six-game streak and the girls have won three of five since losing against the Braves.
The game can be heard on Classic Hits KQDJ-AM 1400 with the pregame show starting around 5:30. Tip-off is slated for 5:45.
