(NewsDakota.com) Both Oakes High School basketball teams, as well as the wrestling team are all on the road Thursday night.

The basketball teams are heading across the southern border, and venturing to Frederick, South Dakota to battle against Leola-Frederick. The Oakes girls are 3-5, and will play at 6:30, and the boys who are 1-9, will follow. Both games will not affect the standings in District 1.

The Tornado wrestling team has a rather large duel Thursday night in Napoleon against the Imperials. There will be top-four regional matchups at 106, 132, 152, 170, and 220 lbs, and the only weight class in Region I that doesn’t have a member in the top four from Oakes or Napoleon is at 195 lbs.
