one-goal losses continue to mount for the Jamestown boys hockey team.

Mandan got the better of the Blue Jays Tuesday night in Mandan, coming away with a 3-2 victory over the Blue Jays. It is Jamestown’s fifth one-goal loss of the season as the Blue Jays fall to 2-8-1 overall and 2-6-1 in the West Region.

Nick Jenson and Jake Stilwell had goals for Jamestown in the loss.

Up next: The Jamestown boys host Minot on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. game at John Wilson Arena.

Blue Jay girls shut out

The West Fargo girls hockey team shut out Jamestown on Tuesday night during a contest in West Fargo.

The Packers jumped out on top early with three goals in the first period, coasting to the 5-0 victory. Jamestown falls to 5-6-1 overall, and 4-6 in North Dakota play.
