N.D. (AP) – Fargo police are searching for a man who
robbed a downtown hotel at gunpoint early this morning.
Investigators say the man threatened a female clerk at the Scandia
Hotel with a handgun and then demanded cash. No one was hurt.     
    
MANDAREE, N.D. (AP) – Dunn County officials say the death of a
worker in western North Dakota’s oil fields doesn’t appear to be
work-related. Autopsy results are pending on the body of the
21-year-old Montana man who was found Saturday at a well site near
Mandaree.     
   
ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) – Construction on the $2 million corporate
office building for the North Central Farmers Elevator is on
schedule and should be completed by early March. The building in
Aberdeen, South Dakota will be the administrative hub for the
cooperative’s 17 facilities in South Dakota and North Dakota.
     
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – It’s a foregone conclusion, but North Dakota
State is the top-ranked team in the final Football Championship
Subdivision coaches’ poll. NDSU beat Sam Houston State 17-to-6 over
the weekend to win the FCS championship. The Bison got all 25
first-place votes in the final poll.
