ND (NewsDakota.com)- A trip to Bismarck Century is on the schedule tonight and it won’t be an easy trip. The Blue Jays will put their respective winning streaks on the line.

The boys have won five in a row since losing to Minot back in mid-December. They have won those games by an average point differential of 21.5 points.

Head Coach Kelley Kessler said last week Jamestown will measure the success of their season on what happens against the teams in Bismarck.

Tonight their test will be the defending Class A state champions. The Patriots won the 2010-11 WDA regular-season title, before capping the season with a championship. However, their 5-3 record doesn’t reflect last seasons success.

The Jamestown girls have won their last three after starting the season 0-5. They will get the No. 2 team in the state tonight.

Kyra Dewald continues her sparkling play and sophomore McKayla Orr is beginning to take on a bigger role. But the key for the Blue Jays will be inside where the inconsistent play has haunted them at times this season.

The girls will tip-off at 6pm this evening and the boys will start following the conclusion of that game. The games can be heard on KQDJ-AM 1400 and streaming live at NewsDakota.com.
