– Three Blue Jay wrestlers earned places at the prestigious Bismarck Rotary wrestling tournament this weekend, helping the Blue Jays to a tie for 17th place as a team.

Jamestown scored 75 team points, tying with Fargo South for 17th in the 27-team tournament.

Jamestown’s Zane Braun took third place in the 152-pound division, posting a 6-1 record. Braun is rated No. 3 in the state in the latest poll.

Jaden Horsted earned seventh-place for Jamestown, pinning his opponent in the seventh-place match at 120 pounds.

Jamestown’s Nate Purcell also earned a seventh-place finish, picking up his place in the 220-pound division.
