Jamestown High School boys basketball team received votes in the latest Class A state basketball poll for the first time this season. The poll is conducted by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

Bismarck is rated No. 1 in the poll, followed by Red River, Mandan, West Fargo and Wahpeton. Fargo South, Jamestown and Minot all received votes.

The Blue Jays are 4-2 overall this season and are on a three-game winning streak. They host Dickinson on Friday and Williston on Saturday as part of boys and girls doubleheaders in Jamestown.
