City, N.D. – A ring fighting event is coming to the North Dakota Winter Show in Valley City next month.

North Dakota Winter Show manager Dawn Riley says there will be a total of 20 fighters competing in 10 fights. Bleacher seating is $25 but VIP tables inside the main arena are going for $500 apiece.

Bismarck based Impact Fighting Championship is promoting the event. Riley says local ring fighter Travis McCullough (Mah-Cull-Ah) will also be competing in the February 25 event in the main arena of the North Dakota Winter Show.

The Valley City commission approved a special alcohol permit to set up a beer garden for the VFW inside the North Dakota Winter Show.
