N.D. (AP) – A trial date has been set for a man who’s accused of pulling out a gun in a Hettinger courtroom. Vicente Chacano  is set to stand trial for 14 counts of attempted murder in early February. The trial was moved to Fargo from Adams County in southwestern North Dakota in order to better find impartial jurors.
     
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – Three University of North Dakota students are facing charges after authorities say they went streaking on campus. The three 18-year-olds who were pledging a fraternity are accused of disorderly conduct among other charges.
     
DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) – Dickinson police say a man who wasarrested for allegedly exposing himself at a local business claimed he had a wardrobe malfunction. The 2-year-old man told police that his zipper was broken. He was arrested on Monday.     
    
DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) – Authorities say a 39-year-old man who died earlier this week when a trench caved in at a Dickinson construction site was trying to save another worker. Cassimiro Medina was one of several workers who tried to help a man after an initial collapse, when he was buried during a second collapse. Two other people were injured.
