CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Viking mens basketball team is finding it’s stride.

The Vikings went to the sunshine state for a pair of games during the Thanksgiving holiday, and moved to 6-3 with a 69-58 win over Ave Maria and a 74-66 win over Johnson and Wales, FL.

Sekani Milligan (Jr., Fort Lauderdale, FL) led the Vikings with 22 points Friday at Ave Maria, with John Raquel (Jr., Hawthorne, CA) adding 18 and Aaron Duske (So., Buffalo, MN) knocking in 10.  The Vikings were 8-17 from beyond the arc in the matchup.

Individual numbers were not available for the Saturday contest.

Valley City State’s win streak is now three.  The Vikings travel to St. Cloud State for an exhibition Monday, and host the University of Sioux Falls Saturday.
