CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–Viking volleyball won two matches without dropping a single set this past weekend.

Valley City State sent Dakota State and Dakota Wesleyan home in 3-0 sweeps Saturday and Sunday, respectively, knocking off the Lady T’s 25-8, 25-18, 25-23, then moving past the Tigers 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

The Vikings hit .394 against the Lady T’s, with Rebekah DePesa (Sr., Phoenix, AZ) landing 14 kills.  Jill Noeske (Jr., Valley City, ND) landed 12 to lead the way against the Tigers.  Anna Neufeld () had 12 digs in each match.

The Vikings play at Mayville State, playing a quadrangular against Dickinson State, Jamestown College, and Mayville State.
